Like you needed another reason to visit Lakefield this May long weekend. So much to do!Happy May Long Weekend everyone! Here are some of the events taking place in the Kawarthas over the weekend. The Lakefield Village Lions Club will be at the Lakefield Foodland on Friday, May 17th throughout the day raising funds for the Christ Church Community Museum restoration project. They will also be holding their Annual Bake Sale on Saturday, May 18th at 8am on the Baker & Cole Law Office Front Porch! Annual Spring Book Sales are taking place this Friday & Saturday in Selwyn Township: - Bridgenorth - May 17th, 9am-5pm at Causeway Treasure Trove - Lakefield - May 18th from 9am-1pm in Centennial Room (Lkfd Library) - Ennismore - May 18th from 9am-3pm in Optimist Hall (Ennismore Library) Cuddles for Cancer is hosting a Bake Sale this Saturday, May 18th from 8am-noon at the Century 21 Office in Lakefield. All baked goods are $2 and proceeds from the sale will go towards the Cuddles for Cancer United Kingdom Trip. The Buckhorn Spring Craft Show is at the BUCKHORN COMMUNITY CENTRE on Saturday, May 18th from 10 am to 5pm and Sunday, May 19th from 10am to 4pm. There will be over 75 exhibitors and artisans with home made products such as, clothing, jewelry, home decor and much more!
